EXPLORER SCOUTS Explorer Scouts are boys and girls aged 14 to 18. The District Unit is in Welwyn Garden City. Explorer Scouts may be young leaders working in Beaver or Cub Scout sections, they may be working for their Duke of Edinburgh Award or simply enjoying their Scouting. They meet to take part in a range of exciting, often adventurous activities. Want to find out more? For information on our local Explorer Scout Unit, click here. Potential

SCOUT NETWORK Everyone aged 18 to 25 with a role in Scouting is automatically a member of the Scout Network. You might be working with a younger Section or have recently gone to University, wanting to make Scouting contacts near your new base. You may want to meet up with other Scout Network members or just keep a Scouting link. Scout Network programmes reflect the huge variation in members' interests. Some local Networks will have activities that concentrate on one area of the programme, whilst others will have a wider range. One
of the key elements is the opportunity to get away, either under canvas
or in other accommodation. For more information on the Scout Network
