Help a Charity when you Help your Business

UPDATED 2019: In 2001, then based in Welwyn, The BPc ‘adopted’ three good causes: the primary school PTFA, the Scout Group and the Welwyn Festival. In 2006, The BPc re-based to Hitchin and, by 2011, had handed over two of the charities to other volunteers. We continued to support the Welwyn Festival until 2019, by maintaining their website, contributing to social media management and producing the 60-page printed programme each year.

Our services include graphic design, website design, SEO and blogging services plus promotion via social media. We work with our clients to deliver the required level of service.

Want a new website?

Websites for our clients are developed using WordPress which means that they are reasonably easy to update – we’ll train your staff to do it or, if there are only a few changes a year, you may prefer to let us do them for you. Your choice, we don’t mind! When we deliver your website, it will conform to Google’s guidelines, be responsive (mobile-friendly) and we will have submitted the sitemap to search engines. Where possible, basic on-page optimisation will be included. During the website development process, we’ll discuss keywords and advise in relation to the content. There are a number of other options, depending on each individual project. Take a look at some of the websites we’ve delivered.

Already have a website but it’s not getting many visitors?

Following an initial review of your website, at no charge, we will produce a brief summary of the areas that may need improvement. We’ll look at content, generated code and, if possible, Google Analytics. We’ll also look at your use of social media. There is no obligation for you to follow through on any of our suggestions but if you would like to use our services, we’ll be pleased to work within your budget.

Do you support a local charity or non-profit website?

If you do, The BPc will be happy to review its website / social media strategy as a complementary service – just let us know*.
